We help everyday families understand microplastics — and take simple, practical steps to reduce their exposure at home.

Our story

It started with a news article. We'd just read that researchers had found microplastics in human blood — and then, a few weeks later, in breast milk. We have young kids, and that hit differently than the usual environmental headlines. We started researching. And the more we looked, the more we realized two things: microplastics are genuinely everywhere, and the information out there is either buried in academic papers or wrapped in so much alarm that it's hard to know what to actually do. So we built this site. Not as scientists or lab technicians — as a family that did the homework and wants to share what we found in plain English. Every product we recommend, we research thoroughly. We look at the lab data. We check for independent certifications. We read the studies. And we're honest when something doesn't live up to its claims — because the goal isn't to sell you things, it's to help you make better choices.

How we research

We read the actual studies

Not just the headlines. We go to the original research — WHO reports, NIH data, and peer-reviewed journals — before we write a single word.

We check certifications

We look at lab data and independent certifications before recommending any product. If it can't be verified, it doesn't make our list.

We're honest about limits

If the science is still evolving, we say so plainly. We never exaggerate to make a point or push a product that hasn't earned our trust.

What we promise you

We only recommend products we would genuinely tell a friend about — commission never drives a recommendation

We never use fear to drive clicks — we are concerned, not alarmist, and we always distinguish proven facts from emerging research

We update our articles when new research changes our position — and we always note what changed and why

Small swaps, made over time, add up to a real difference — we are here to help you start, not overwhelm you
